About The Program

Our one-day team building program is a carefully calibrated method using Appreciative Inquiry to encourage teams to practice valuing each other better and teach them how to use their collective strengths and gifts to overcome team weaknesses. Where a team is in dysfunction or conflict, the program can be tailored for pre-and-post workshop, one-to-one coaching. This assists individual team members to take personal responsibility and make commitments to self-improvement for the benefit of the whole team. The result is a team that values ‘appreciation’ and has been able to practice appreciation as a method of communicating and cooperating for higher cooperation and productivity.

What You Receive

Pre-and-post workshop coaching

Where a team is in conflict, this program can be tailored for pre-and-post workshop, one-to-one coaching.

Appreciation Practice

Employees engage in an exercise aimed to focus on the strengths and gifts that each team member contributes.

Using strengths to resolve weaknesses

Employees move on to identifying team conflicts and problems and apply strengths to reaching resolution.

Team Code of Conduct

Finally, the team reflect on the day and develop and agree on a team code of conduct with follow-up actions and responsibilities for each team member.

About Scott Berry

Hello, my name is Scott and I’m the Managing Partner at Scott Berry & Associates. I want to thank you for expressing interest in our employee assistance and wellness services. I’m a psychotherapist trained in the UK and an accredited, professional coach. I have a PhD in leadership and an MBA from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. I’ve worked in 22 countries assisting individuals, leaders, organizations and governments to improve cultures, management and leadership.
